Our client one of the leading creators of sustainable and innovative concepts for tableware, required a contractor to provide an air conditioning maintenance contract and reactive breakdown assistance to their head office facility in Cheshire.

Our 3 Tier Maintenance Plans were ideal for this client, as they provide the choice of different levels of cover for a low monthly cost.

Scope of work

After changing from their incumbent supplier, the new service partners for Duni needed to provide a quick response to breakdowns and complete compliance with the F Gas Regulations.

F Gas Compliance comes as standard with our 3 Tier Plans and with our Head Office located in Runcorn,  ICE were the ideal fit for this air conditioning maintenance contract.

How ICE helped

After the initial enquiry, a site survey was undertaken and a quotation for a 3 Tier maintenance plan was prepared and sent to the client for approval.

After the customer was onboarded and the contract was set up, our Service Team arranged for the first visit to be undertaken.

The first visit was undertaken by our Service Supervisor Sam Griffiths, who spent time mapping out the systems and preparing a full asset list for the client. Each system was then asset tagged with a unique number and labelled with F Gas Stickers recording the refrigerant type, weight and the CO2 equivalent in tonnes of the refrigerant.


A full maintenance check was then carried out on each system, with a detailed report undertaken onsite by our engineers via their tablets on our digital management system. Each system was thoroughly cleaned, with all evaporator coils and drains disinfected using appropriate fluids. Each system was leak checked and a check certificate was produced and signed off by our engineers.


All systems were left running efficiently and the works were signed off by the client.

Within days of the visit, the client received their digital pack containing a report for each system detailing any work or repairs that have been recommended, a leak check certificate and full refrigerant asset list.

Following the visit we received the following feedback from our contact: “I thought the guys who came were great.  Sam came first on the Thursday on his own, such a lovely polite guy who worked the whole time he was here.  On the Friday he was accompanied by Luke and they both were lovely, they even got the hoover out to tidy up after themselves. More than happy with their work and their professional manner which they kept throughout the 2 days here.”
