Read MoreICE were tasked with carrying out a deep clean of an air conditioning cassette system over a weekend, when the Laboratory was out of use.
The system was leaking water due to a failed condensate pump caused by a blocked drain hose, following the repair it was recommended that the system was stripped down and deep cleaned to prevent further pumps from failing.

Air Conditioning North Wales Repair – The work was assigned to our Senior Service Engineer Harry James for continuity as it was he who attended the original service call.
The first step in the process was to electrically isolate the unit and strip it down. This involved removing the casings, filters, and fan impellor. Once this was done, the indoor evaporator coil was exposed and sprayed with Easycare evaporator cleaner from Advanced engineering, along with the fan impellor and filters.
After 10 minutes, the cleaner was rinsed off using a jetwash. Next, the casings were cleaned with disinfectant and polished with case cleaner.
The drain hose was blown out using gallo gun cartridges to remove any potential build up within the drain.
The unit was then reassembled and sprayed with OdourGuard to provide protection from odours and unpleasant smells. We take pride in ensuring that our work not only resolves the issue at hand but also leaves the customers unit looking and smelling as good as new.
Finally, the system was recommissioned and left working.
Air Conditioning North Wales Repair – The repair we carried out will prevent the drain hose from re-blocking, allowing the newly fitted condensate pump to remove water effectively. Additionally, we left the system clean and free from bacteria and fungi, resulting in significantly improved airflow and increased efficiency.
