Air Conditioning Energy Assessments
“Did you know that all commercial buildings must have air conditioning systems inspected every five years if they have a combined output exceeding 12kw?”
Since 2011, it has been a legal requirement for buildings with air conditioning systems with a total cooling capacity of over 12kW to have mandatory TM44 inspections of their equipment.
The Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) requires a TM44 Inspection to be carried out every 5 years.
The aim of the inspection is to help your company improve the building’s efficiency and reduce energy usage and carbon emissions, all of which can save your business money!
ICE Ltd is a provider of TM44 Air Conditioning Inspections. Fully trained Energy Assessors will carry out the required survey and produce a detailed report, which is then submitted to the relevant authority.
All TM44 inspections by ICE are carried out using specialist software, allowing the assessors to record key information relating to your equipment. The software highlights any inefficiencies, allowing the assessor to record recommendations and estimates of cost savings.
The final report records the equipment inspected along with related running costs, recommendations for repairs, and good operating practices.
In addition to the above, the final report provides a full facility asset list.
