Air Conditioning Maintenance Contracts

“Flexible maintenance plans with a fixed monthly cost to suit your budget”

Industrial Cooling Equipment Ltd can provide a choice of air conditioning maintenance contracts plans to suit our clients’ needs and budget.

For example, a small office with a few cassette systems would require a different level of cover to a large pharmaceutical site with systems that serve production facilities.

Our client Duni Group Cheshire, required a contractor to provide an air conditioning maintenance contract and reactive breakdown assistance to their head office facility in Cheshire. Whatever your need, we can help.

Maintenance Specifics

System Checks

During a maintenance visit, each system receives a series of checks to ensure optimal performance and longevity of life. ICE engineers perform checks on components such as compressors, fans and controls along with refrigerant pressures, temperatures and an electronic leak check. Each system is scored based on its condition, allowing clients to plan and budget for systems coming to the end of their working life.

Cleaning and Sanitising

Since the Covid-19 pandemic there has been a huge emphasis on cleaning and sanitising of air conditioning systems. With our maintenance plans, evaporator coils and drains are sanitised with specialist fluids, preventing bacteria which can cause smells and improving the health of your system. All fascia and filters are cleaned, which improves efficiency and ensures the systems look clean and aesthetically pleasing. Outdoor units are cleaned and if required jet washed.

Compliance

All systems under an air conditioning maintenance contract with ICE Ltd include our F Gas Compliance Package, which ensures total compliance with all F Gas regulations. On the first maintenance visit each piece of equipment receives an ICE asset tag, with a unique asset code. Our engineers then create a full equipment asset list for your site, detailing refrigerant type, quantity, and calculate the CO2 equivalent weight. Following the visit, you will receive a digital pack containing a report for each asset detailing any work carried out, any work or repairs recommended, a leak check certificate and full refrigerant asset list.

Support

Customers who hold a maintenance contract receive priority on call outs and extended warranties on systems installed by ICE Ltd. Support such as 24 hours a day, 365 days per year emergency call out and 4-hour responses to emergency call outs can also be provided under our maintenance plans.

Did you know?

It is now a legal requirement of companies to test for leaks on refrigeration or process cooling equipment

The number of leak checks is determined by the CO2 equivalent weight:

5 to 50 tonnes of CO2 – Needs to be leak checked every 12 months

50 – 500 tonnes of CO2 – Needs to be leak checked every 6 months

Over 500 tonnes of CO2 – Needs to be leak checked every 3 months (and leak detection equipment needs to be installed)
