As part of the conversion works, ICE installed 11x Midea wall mounted air conditioing systems to serve each of the small units. To keep their investment in top condition and to extend the warranty on the equipment for up to 10 years, they took out an Air Conditioning Maintenance Contract with ICE.
Initially the site receives one maintenance visit per year, which will increase to two once the site is fully occupied. The first visit was carried out in April 2024.
The works were carried out by our Service Engineer Joe Farrell.
After signing in onsite and completing the relevant risk assessments on his device, our engineers proceeded to start the maintenance visit.
The systems had already been asset tagged and labelled up by our Project Team on commissioning of the installation, so our engineer could begin to work through the tailored digital check sheets for the systems on his tablet.
The units had some building dust on the filters from the site, so these were cleaned along with the evaporator coils and drains with specialist fluid. All outdoor condensing units were also cleaned.
A full maintenance check was then carried on each system, with relevant readings recorded on our system. All systems were fully leak checked using an electronic leak detector and a leak check certificate was produced and signed off by our engineer.
The engineer completed the digital report for the site, grading the condition score of all systems as excellent. The works were completed within a day with all systems left working efficiently. Within a few days of the visit, the client received their digital pack containing the check sheet reports for each system including leak check certificate and full refrigerant asset list. By partnering with ICE as the installer and the service provider to undertake the air conditioning maintenance, the client can extend the warranty on their equipment for up to 10 years.
